FAQ

What areas do you serve for real estate photography and videography?

I provide real estate photography and videography services throughout Sacramento and Northern California, including Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom, Elk Grove, El Dorado Hills, Davis, Woodland, and the surrounding Sacramento Valley. I also work in nearby regions such as the Bay Area, Napa, Sonoma, and Central California for residential, commercial, hospitality, and short-term rental projects. For commercial real estate, hotels, resorts, and larger developments, I am available for projects anywhere in California and throughout the United States. If you have a property outside these areas, contact me for a custom travel quote or availability.

I am available for photoshoots Monday through Friday during daylight hours. You can view my current availability anytime through my online booking portal, or you can reach out directly if you need help finding a date. I typically book 1 to 2 weeks out, and during the summer busy season availability can range from 2 to 4 weeks out. I do not schedule weekend shoots so I can maintain a healthy work-life balance, but I am always happy to help you find the next available weekday that fits your timeline.

You can schedule a photoshoot anytime through my online booking portal at https://johnturtonphoto.aryeo.com/order. The system lets you select your services, choose a date, and provide property details. If you prefer to book directly, you can call or text me at (916) 628-8887 or email me at john@johnturtonphoto.com. Texting is the fastest way to reach me if you need a quick response or have questions before booking.

My turnaround time for photos is next day for most standard shoots. Video projects are typically delivered within 3 to 4 days depending on the scope of the edit. If you need a faster turnaround for either photos or video, rush options may be available. Feel free to reach out if you have a specific deadline or need same day delivery.

Yes, I offer drone photography and aerial video for all types of real estate and commercial projects. I am an FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot, which means I am certified to fly commercially and operate safely within all federal regulations. Drone photos and videos are included in all of my standard pricing, so every shoot comes with both ground and aerial coverage to give your listing a complete visual presentation.

Yes, I work with a wide range of properties including luxury homes, commercial real estate, and short-term rentals. I photograph high-end residential listings, apartment communities, office buildings, retail spaces, medical facilities, hotels, resorts, and Airbnb or Vrbo rentals. My approach is tailored to each property type, whether you need editorial-style images for a luxury home, clean and detailed media for a commercial listing, or inviting lifestyle content for a short-term rental. If you have a specific style or project in mind, I can create a custom media plan that fits your needs. You can look at my portfolio for examples or reach out if you have a special request.

I deliver all final photos and videos through an online gallery where you can view, download, and organize your media. When your project is ready, you will receive an email with a link to your gallery along with a secure payment link on the same page. The files will unlock automatically once payment is completed. Every project also includes a free property website that you can customize, along with access to marketing templates where you can select and upload any of the photos to create flyers, social posts, and listing materials. I accept all major forms of payment, and if you need an invoice or prefer a different payment method, I can easily provide it.

If the weather is bad on the day of the shoot, you can reschedule at no cost as long as I have not already left for the property. I do not charge a rescheduling fee for weather-related changes, but I cannot guarantee an immediate next-day opening since availability depends on my existing schedule. I will always do my best to get you the next available date with good weather. If I have already left my house and am on the way to the shoot when the cancellation happens, a rescheduling fee may apply to cover travel time.
